Alexi has agreed to temporarily fill the currently vacant guitarist spot on their tour alongside Ensiferum, Hypocrisy, Ex Deo, Blackguard and Swashbuckle.
Hypocrisy mainman Peter Tägtgren commented: "We're very happy to bring Alexi along on this tour and that he's helping us out with filling the 2nd guitarist position. Funny, the first Children Of Bodom show was a support gig for Hypocrisy. Since then me and Alexi have become very good friends. I've helped him with producing and he's helped me by contributing a guitar solo on one of my records with my other band Pain. There will be no shortage of alcohol on this tour that's for sure."

Alexi seems like a weird choice for a temporary replacement/tour guitarist.

It just seems as if they are from two different worlds. Alexi is an excellent guitarist for sure...so I have no doubt he can handle the greatness that is Hypocrisy.

I dont support Peter's decision at all, there are tons of talented musicians wanting to play with him on Hypocrisy, I think he chose the easy way and called Laiho to play with him, I just hope this guy dont go Yngwie Malmsteen on the solos and dont fuck with classics like Osculum Obscenum, Killing Art or any other

Hopefully he's not as smashed as he's been during recent bodom shows. Stopping during the middle of a song, going onto another.  Still looking forward to this tour none the less.

The last 2 times I had the unfortunate chance to see CoB, he was a wreck as well. Hypocrisy would be the only reason for me to see this tour, so I will have to see where my mood lies in a few weeks...
