After 30 years since their most recent studio album Seeking Refuge, and nearly 15 years since they reunited, L.A. crossover thrash metal legends Excel have been tracking their long-awaited fourth studio album at Sun Sick Studios, with the drum tracks having already completed. The record is expected to surface in late 2025 or early 2026. More info in due time.

Seriously couldn’t believe there’s a band out there called Excel... Did a VLOOKUP, and it came back TRUE. They even formed the same year Excel was released, go figure.

After 30 years, for a crossover thrash album, this better be called 'Cell Shock' or 'Pivot or Perish', or I won't even bother.
