Of course "fairy doom" is ethereal, almost inviting, but you shouldn't completely trust anything from the fae world.

There's a bit of a witch house vibe to this, which I actually think works really well in a post-doom context.

After falling in love with (Dolch) and even more with Frayle, I was looking for more bands like them, and this totally scratches that itch. This is very good, gets heavier and with a rougher edge at times, but with a similar sound texture and ethereal vibe to the other two.

This is a great album, it's deeply melancholic, has excellent haunting vocals, a great tone, and a disturbingly beautiful atmosphere. The doom genre as impressed me quite a bit this year, especially by the female-fronted band's, Messa, Opia, Shedfromthebody, and The Answer Lies In The Black Void in particular, and now here's another one, albeit with a post-metal touch.

Maybe it's the similar cover art but this reminds me a lot of Dream Unending's last album, very gaze-y doom with a swampy dreamy atmosphere. I like this shit a lot, sounds like the stuff Jacinthe would blast after her 99th win in the Le Super-Tournoi de Jacinthe.
