Do you remember the time when the words 'surprise' and 'Deicide' would never appear in the same sentence unless that sentence was "Fuck, Deicide is shit, I'm surprised they haven't retired yet?" Well, ever since the Hoffman brothers left the band and were replaced by Jack Owen and Ralph Santolla, Deicide received an enormous boost in creativity that granted them a second chance of sorts. The new lineup is indeed capable of surprising with each release, Stench Of Redemption and Till Death Do Us Part are prime examples of this. While the quality of the album is up for speculation, personally there is little doubt that this is one bad ass title.

Hmm...should be interesting. Deicide have blown hot and cold througout their career. lol Though the last Deicide album I truly loved was "Scars Of The Crucifix''.

I haven't enjoyed Glen Benton's vocals since Legion, and now that the Hoffman brothers are gone (and forming Amon, which I am more excited to listen to), I am pretty certain that this album will be garbage.

Yeh, I like "Scars Of The Crucifix" a lot too. I just hope this one is better than their 2008 album - that was a major disappointment.
