German gothic metallers Lacrimas Profundere have recently announced that they will be entering the studio soon to start recording the follow-up to 2010's The Grandiose Nowhere.

The band posted the following update on their Facebook page: "Dear friends! We're pleased to announce that we'll enter the studio soon! There are about 20 brand new songs, ready to be recorded, that we're currently trying to sort out together with Finland's top producer Hiili Hiilesmaa! We are very proud and of course very excited about the upcoming stuff! We can't wait to present the new material! We spent a super long time on writing & arranging all the songs and you can expect more heavy, dark and mindblowing tracks then ever before! So dear people out there, stay tuned - though it will still take a while until the new record comes out!"
