Animals As Leaders - Recording New Album

Animals As Leaders - Recording New Album

The last Animals As Leaders album was Weightless in 2011, so it's about time for a new one, right? Well, things are underway because the band has shared a pic of drummer Matt Garstka tracking drums at Swing House Studios. Animals As Leaders also shared a photo from the studio on their Instagram. Do you think the Americans can outdo themselves again?

The new album should come out through Sumerian Records.

Agreed, way too much electronic junk on Weightless, found it very irritating.

Weightless had already too much electronics to my ears, anymore would frankly be an overkill.

I approve of this.

But yeah, I'd like for the band to try and retain more of the original sound they defined on their self-titled debut. Weightless was good, but it just lacked the character of their first, IMO.

Yea, I found the riffs tasteless for the most part
