Still working it out. Loved their debut, enjoying this, but need a few more spins. Review will be forthcoming shortly.

I've gone through this album twice, and I have to say I really like it. Probably not quite as good as the debut, but it's even darker in tone, so I'm rather pleased.

Same here. The debut is totally great, but after (only) 2 spins this has yet to convince me. I hope it's a grower, because so far I'd say it's rather boring stuff.

I think I heard only one song by them before this album which was ... I can't remember it but I think it had female vocals :/ I'm not sure at all, but this album which is the first one I heard from them is just fair, not highly awesome.

I'm surprised by the negativity! It's definitely not as good as their debut, but I really wouldn't call it boring. I'm going to have to listen to this again to see if I can find what you guys (and gal) are talking about. Very interesting....

I throw 9 and 10 to every random album????!!!!:o bullshit! if i give them 10 or 9 it means i've found them really great and special after listening so much and deliberation. if u don't like their style it doesn't mean they don't deserve high rating.

Well, it's of course cool to hate popular bands such as Summoning and Dracanion.

I somewhat agree with Mary that people do hand out too many high ratings (9's and 10's). And yeah, just because certain people here try to be elitist in hating Summoning, it doesn't make them right when they say it's mediocre music. I'm of the opinion that you can't judge an album properly if you do NOT like the genre/style of that album. Of course you won't like this album if you hate death doom metal, for example. That is one of the reasons I won't rate certain albums of genres that are too far from my comfort zone.

Not feeling it.

Last time I listened to it (for the 3rd or 4th time) I found the first couple of songs great. It's just that the last two songs are pretty damn boring and bring down the album. Have you listened to the debut? It's far better than this one. Much more consistent. I don't really understand BitterCOld's reviews, as the scores he gives are almost identical. To me the difference in quality is quite big.

I wouldn't call it "far better" but I do agree that by comparison, this one is pretty weak. I can't pinpoint what it is - maybe a lack of ideas or the fact it tends to wander without much purpose flow-wise. Either way, it's not an album I'll ever feel compelled to hear out again, which also goes for the debut. They just don't do anything to impress me or keep me coming back.

I liked the debut more, with its atmospheric death/doom approach. This turned on funeral doom which isnt exactly to my likings but its consistent nonetheless.

I can say i love this album really as i listen more.specially last track ,it's more heavy with darker atmosphere.but we should admit some parts are boring.
