I always thought that's why there is a genre as blackened death? for example first and third songs on this album, I can't really know them as pure death metal

i wouldn't be so sure... Fenriz kind of made fun of fans of their early output when i interviewed him for MS before FOAD was released.

How about Fenriz' Red Planet? Based on the songs from that, I reckon he should be Black Sabbath's new vocalist and drummer.

i wouldn't be so sure... Fenriz kind of made fun of fans of their early output when i interviewed him for MS before FOAD was released.

Really, I don't know, but usually he jokes a lot, and makes fun of everything, based on other interviews he doesn't really take DT that serious either. He always mentions so many great underground bands that are obviously much better his own music.

It's available as a split ep with Nattefrost called Engangsgrill. Red Planet's a sort of retro 70s doom, while the Nattefrost stuff sounds like a punky version of Carpathian Forrest.
