What a change eh? From clean faces and jeans to all black and corpse paint. For A Blaze In The Northern Sky, Euronymous (who this album is dedicated to) worked with DarkThrone, getting them to make black metal. Some of you may know that a first edition print of "A Blaze in the Northern Sky" has been featured at the The National Library of Norway's (Nasjonalbiblioteket ) new permanent exhibition called Enlightened. This exhibition features highlights from Norwegian cultural history dating from the year 1100, up to the present day. Do check out Nocturno Culto's fascinating interview with journalist and writer Harald Fossberg about the album, the scene and Darkthrone and the honour of being included in this exhibition. The clip has subtitles in English
