Hehe, I too am way more leaning towards the winter side... Also like spring and fall, but anything that's 25°C or more isn't something I'd ever need.

Definitely my favourite band. I can't really express why but somehow I agree with ever riff or note Hoest plays/sings, it feels like it's the soundtrack to my life lol.

I'm a huge fan . She has a song called "Heavy Metal Lover" in which she talks about gangbangs, drinking beer and raising hell in the streets. Can't do more rnr than that . If you take some cases of booze with you to that island, you need her for some party music.
Also, if you meet a beautiful aboriginal from a tribe that was never discovered before, you need some Marvin Gaye for sexy time. Tssk tssk you haven't thought this through.

I always thought Dark Tranquility was great for both sexy time and party music, but that might just be me.

About this list, there's only one album here I really enjoy thoroughly, so I'd have a pretty monotonous time on that island, spinning DT day and night...

I agree, yet I can't stand any music in the background at any activity... If I listen to music, my focus has to be solely on that, otherwise it just disturbs me, especially if I like the music... But that kinda makes me a dangerous driver haha
And a word about boozing: I'd probably take some Korpiklaani for that activity, maybe some Equilibrium as well hehe.

A Wintersunset... is one of my favourite albums (as in, top 20) and I would say it's a "summer" album. The synths on the album are mostly responsible for the warm, dreamy atmosphere I'd say.

And that's the only album I agree with on this list.

Pffft, the summer is way better than the winter. At least then I can sit outside drinking (craft) beer. That, and the fact that I hate the cold in general... and snow too. And ice.

Nice to see those Taake albums on your list. I love Doedskvad and among my recently arrived batch of CD's was Bjoergvin. Will be buying the debut as well at some point.

Why not take whole band what play live gig because it will be useful unless you're engineat what can make sun electricity
