Leprous - Release Video For 'Massive Attack' Cover

Norwegian prog metallers Leprous have teased the video for their cover of Massive Attack's "Angel" for a while, but today, the 25th of January, is the release day and they rightfully delivered. You can watch the video below:



It should come as no surprise that they did release this cover, considering that they've been playing this song consistently since September 2018. The video was filmed by Costin Chioreanu and Gina Sandulescu.

Leprous are also soon to embark on a South American tour.

Good cover, I enjoyed it.
I also like the original song, from the only Massive Attack album I enjoy in its entirety (Mezzanine)

I'm not well versed in trip-hop, but Mezzanine and Dummy by Portishead were constant rotations for me growing up.

This is in my top-3 Massive Attack songs. Not a bad cover, just completely risk-free and not really bringing anything new to the table.
