Sabke Morde - New Full Length Release Almost Finished

Sabke Morde, enigmatic Iranian prog metal one-man project, has recently revealed first details of his second album. This new work is a story driven concept album which started as a novel, but later turned into a musical album. For the artwork, Sabke Morde collaborated with a local painter, Sepide Mostofi. The oil painting was done based on the album's story and some elements of the Dutch Golden Age paintings. More concrete and specific details will be unveiled in coming weeks. Stay tuned.

The album was recorded in Sabke Morde's home studio and as we see from updates, it features some unusual instruments like udu, frame drum, bendir, Iranian daf, dayere, bells and apparently others.

I'd love to hear this new work. I always love it when the musicians care about literature and poetry. Add to the mix: story driven concept album. I have a good feeling about this.
Oil painting is a great bonus! Love to see more oil paintings on albums. Maybe I'm getting old...
