In 2020, the legendary self-titled debut of metal giants Iced Earth celebrates its 30th anniversary! Originally released in 1990, Iced Earth now returns in a brand-new edition featuring high class remixing and remastering courtesy of Zeuss (Overkill, Queensrÿche etc.), going to be released on December 18th, 2020, via Century Media Records.

Jon Schaffer comments: "This 30 year old debut classic has been remixed and remastered from the original 2 inch tapes by Zeuss, and it sounds fantastic. It has a modern touch and still retains the dynamics of the original release. This is a big step forward sonically and visually. We're excited to have our exclusive artwork and blood red vinyl version at www.icedearthmerch.com."

30th anniversary ca$h grab

You do know bands aren't being allowed to tour right now and that people are buying music less and less, right? Bands need to do what they can to survive right now. The last thing the world needs are cynics like you implying a band is greedy for releasing a thirtieth year anniversary album of their debut effort. Something many people are more than happy to pay for. Myself included if i didn't already own the album.

There was one remastered version in 2002 already.
This one contains no bonuses...pointless really.

if enough people would go against these bullshit restrictions and call out this fake of a "pandemic" we could get bands like IE back to touring and solve the real issue?

Yes, your totally right about that. I myself have taken a little bit of action by simply attending the anti-mask/anti-lockdown protests in toronto; which having been growing every weekend despite our mainstream media lying about the protest or trying to pretend they are not happening as I havent seen them covering at all lately even though the attendance is in the thousands. Hope there is some quality resistance in Finland.

Does band play live songs from first 2 albums? To me no idea to do this, it must remaster boat albums.
I Want this, urs much better sound, sounds much much better. Killer one. First 2 are underated jewels.

So sad to see some irresponsable people talking about "fake pandemic" around there

This release could be good with more stuff.
