"Rivers", the third single from Epica's oncoming studio record Omega, has been unleashed. It's available for streaming as an official visualizer. The outing drops on February 26th via Nuclear Blast Records.

"Our third single has arrived! "Rivers" symbolizes the calmness and at the same time the uncertainty in life, the ebb and flow. The calm water represents peace, and a strong river stream means that you have to face challenges and swim against the tide of life", comments Simone Simons.

Honestly, this is pretty good. It is undoubtedly Epica. Simone shows awesome vocal variation as she always does. My only wish is that there was a guitar solo as the song reached it's crescendo. Something reminiscent of what they did with "Tides of Time" would have been cool. Either way, good song. I'm looking forward to the album.
