After 10 years, brutal death metal bringers Vomit The Soul are officially reunited. The Italians are currently in studio, working on the follow-up to the 2009 release Apostles Of Inexpression. The band also welcome Stefano Rossi Ciucci (Bloodtruth, Instigate) as the new permanent bass player.

Guitarist and vocalist, Max Santarelli, comments: "It's been over 11 years already since we played our last shows and long story short, we genuinely miss it. After a few talks and a couple of beers, we decided to get back together to record a brand new album with an important line-up change: Stefano Rossi Ciucci (Bloodtruth, Instigate) will fill the bass duties and he is joining VTS as a full time member! We're excited to announce that Unique Leader Records will release our brand new album later this year. Stay tuned for more news about. Can't wait to see you all and crush the stage too. Soooo happy to hear this. I absolutely love both of their albums, with their last being one of my more favorite brutal albums.

I don't count either of them among my favorites but they're definitely worthwhile albums worth suggesting to anyone with even a passing interest in brutal death metal that hasn't heard them already.

I'm really looking forward to hearing this and will likely drop a review once it's released.
