Décembre Noir - Confirm Drummer Departure
After more than 10 years and 4 studio albums created together, Décembre Noir have now parted ways with drummer Kevin Klaus Schmidt. Statement from the group can be read down under.
Statement from the band: "There will probably always remain a strange feeling when a member of a band decides to no longer look into the future together with the others, but to look back at the shared time spent with music in the past. Kevin set the pace for Décembre Noir for the last time at our belated release shows in Erfurt.
"He came to us to help out for three concerts and then stayed for almost 10 years and shaped all 4 studio albums with his style. We can only say thank you for this time and your inexhaustible energy for the band.
"We wish you all the best for the future and that we can still experience some nice moments together outside of the band."
