Doldrum - The Knocking, Or The Story Of The Sound That Preceded Their Disappearance

There is a fine display of drumming, bass work and guitar work going on here, these guys know how to play that's for sure. I cannot deny their talented musicianship skills, and how well they have structured the tracks, however there is nothing I find particularly memorable about this album as such, the songwriting is ok, but nothing spectacular imo.

Interesting elements here... sometimes sounds like black metal in different north american forests.

This is like black metal for adults. Love the main riff in the first song.
