The djent craze at the beginning of last decade came in the form of two prevailing trends: the Periphery-style prog-metalcore and the guitar virtuoso solo projects. I'm inclined to give this a 10. Very reminiscent of Nick Johnston's latest outputs. The atmosphere, phrasing, continuity...blown away.

Heads up: this is about 10% metal, but it stays true to DMM's energy in the last few years.

This music is full of curiosity and mirth. Very different from your usual metal instrumental album. David loves playing the silences.
