It's nothing new and the beginning was pretty boring. It got a bit better and I think it's not all that bad release in the end. Funny how I liked song December Flower the most and it turns out to be In Flames cover

Their first album on the first listen I couldn't get into the vocals. I felt like they weren't suited for melodeath. It sounded like it should be on a more traditional sounding death metal album or even death doom. But I started to like it more the more spins I gave it. Now with this album I forgot all about that and this album kinda blew my socks off. These guys could be special if they keep making this kind of progression with each record.

This is a very impressive melodeath album, The vocals take some getting used to, but the music is great, has some terrific melodies.

Sadly there is absolutely nothing here that we haven't heard a million times before. I don't find it interesting enough to invest my time in it even though the music actually is really good.

I thought this had gone from sounding 'quite a bit like early In Flames' to 'sounding eerily similar to early In Flames', before twigging that it was in fact a cover. Good album, although a bit overlong for a fairly generic album for the style
