Can you help me to create a list of non-metal albums?

I would like to make a large list of non-metal album recommendations for those who are interested. And I would also like to make recommendations for a number of countries, so since I am not familiar with the music of all countries in the world, if you could help me in this endeavor so that it is not an individual list but a collective list.

This list would be created by MS users for MS users.

It would be divided by country. Of course, I will indicate the genre for each album. I want this to be a list that introduces new genres, new styles and obviously new artists.

You can suggest rock albums even if some bands are featured on MS. But I would still favor other genres, less related to metal. Also, I would prefer if you recommended artists who aren't super well-known internationally, like Daft Punk for France. Everyone knows them; it would be more interesting to have lesser-known artists internationally.

Could you give me your recommendations for the best albums from your countries (or other countries if you want)?

For France, I already thought of the albums "Fernande" by Georges Brassens, "Histoire de Melody Nelson" by Serge Gainsbourg, "Le jardin du Luxembourg" by Joe Dassin, "L'école de Micro D'argent" by IAM, "The Hypnoflip Invasion" by Stupeflip, and "Cross" by Justice (this one is a little bit more famous I will admit).

I already got two recommendations in the Shoutbox, M C Vice said the Slovenian band Laibach and the Australia band "Regurgitator" , it remains to be determined which albums.

I could definitely help, I was actually thinking of making a similar list myself. I’ll go back and find some of the ones I’ve really really liked and get back to you.

Well, both, because I used some MS users recommandations (thanks Vellichor), some recommandations I read on forums, some not so popular albums on different websites like RYM, and of course a big part of it is my recommandations.

I think I'm at more than 100 albums already. Thanks for the Swedish albums, I only have 1 in my list for now.
