Polish Death Metal

Sure, they are Death Metal influenced a LOT, but still Black, IMO. Though I admit, they are allmost in the middle of the two. And looking at their evolution, the next will be even more Deathy.

I still fail to see that much Death Metal influence on them, with the exception of some of their riffs and production. They sure are different from "kvlt" black metal but hardly death metal.



This isn't a attack on them though, God the Lux is a fan-fuckingtastic album.

And the vocals aren't 100% Black either. It is always hard with those who linger in between..

True enough man, but more black then anything else.

They remind me of Abbath's vocals a bit. How they have that "buggy" talking sound to them, if that makes sense to anyone. Of course, not one ever said Black Metal vocals had to have a distinct sound.

Vader are good too....

I heard Decapitated, but not really my thing.

I haven't actually heard any ov the other Polish DM bands.

Esqarial, kind of progressive death metal. Really great band.

It could be, but there is a Death Metal band from Poland named Hate. The world is a big place with a lot of people making bands, I'm sure every now and then some people will use the same name as another.

Especially with obvious names like 'Hate'.

I thought there were also about 5 bands called 'Torment'.

yeah, the main bands such as vader, decapitated, hate, behemoth, dies irae are all killer, check out sceptic! they are ripping! influenced by death, cynic, atheist ( floridian death ). disfear are polish as well, but are not really my bag.:banger2:

...i haven't heard all the bands you've listed here, but i can say decapitated is an excellent band...i've heard their winds of creation album and like it alot...haven't heard yet complete organic hallucinations but i like the few tracks i've got...vader is another good band, i'm not much into them but i do hear them frequently because my brother is, and yes, they are talented...

Well Vader Behemoth and Vesania would have to be my top TPDM bands that I listen to in that order. Although Iv'e just recently heard Vesania so I have listened to a few tracks but as far as Vader and Behemoth go Iv'e heard their new and their old the good and the bad so I've made my mind up about that. And also I am happy to hear that they both have a new album coming out so I'll be waititng for their new shit when they are ready to present it.

I can recommend you one of my favourite band - Sceptic. It's great polish technical death metal band. If you like Death I'm sure you will like Sceptic too. Their latest album Internal Complexity you can hear in two versions: with male and female-growling (yes!) vocals ;] It's worth to listening If you want more, check www.sceptic.pl
Besides I can specify Anal Stench, Dies Irae, Trauma, Thy Disease, Decapitated, Vader of course.
(alternatively thrash/death metal bands like Virgin Snatch or TOTEM - also one of my favourite groups )

Ah yes, I ran into them lately too, more or less by accident. I didn't know they were Polish. Good stuff, for sure.

I wish I can get Sacrivesrum its death/gothic metal band from Poland, I use to be 4 songs, but now home page are down, and I cant find, bjt I realy like this Polosh band mix whit male and female vocals warkaa sad this abnd sint Popular in Poland.

I love Vader!!!! Vader and Behemoth are the polish bands that I know, Behemoth is a really good band, I like the Death Metal sound of their last albums, but I like Vader a lot more, I love their Death Metal, especially their earlier albums

btw. Archeon - I was on their concert 2 weeks ago. and I really enjoyed it! It's a piece of good music (can i say 'piece of good music'?:D is it correct?:D). Archeon's vocalist and guitarist is amazing. very good technically.
The same Sceptic's guitarist - Hiro. One of the best guitarist in Poland His skills are admirable ;]
