To a big extent (the untouchable stuff): Asphyx - The Rack: This album is a guided tour through Hell. Possessed - Open The Gates: Some of the most evil metal ever recorded at the time, and still is today. Ripping Corpse - Dreaming With The Dead: This one just rocks so hard. Lots of great riffs everywhere. The Necrovore demo: Might actually be even more evil than the Possessed album. Sepultura - first two albums: Extremely intense albums, with a very refreshing DIY feeling. Autopsy - first two albums: Satan would be proud of these. Seriously. Nihilist - demos (personally got in contact with these from the demo compilation) - Raw, heavy and intense as can be. To a slightly lesser extent (the almost untouchable stuff): Dismember - Like An Ever Flowing Stream: Heavy as fuck with a sense of melody as well. Carnage - Dark Recollections: You haven't heard this, you're missing out. Some of the best stuff to come out of Sweden. Bolt Thrower - In Battle There Is No Law: Raw and brutal as pure fucking hell, I love it! Entombed - Clandestine: A really intense record. Highly reccomended. Some of the Mantas demos: Primordial and pure never fails.

Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness Bolt Thrower - everything they're ever put out (I own all of them) Death - Leprosy, Human, Symbolic Asphyx - everything I've heard so far Amon Amarth - Vs the World Decapitated - Winds of Creation Behemoth - The Apostasy, Demigod, and alot of songs from other albums Dissection - Somberlain, Storm of the Light's Bane Grave - Into the Grave At The Gates - Slaughter of the Soul and just like everyone else, the list goes on!

Altars of Madness has had a few mentions, which is absolutely understandable.. But for me it's Blessed are the Sick (as also mentioned by Guib) which is the ultimate Morbid Angel album and one of the all-time classics of the genre IMO. Plenty of variety, from fast to slow, extreme to mellow, borderline progressive/epic to groovy/catchy - it never "gets old" because it has so much to offer, and still sounds potent in this day and age. (Actually, Formulas Fatal to the Flesh is an often underrated album by this band too).

Morbid Angel- B,C,D,G Suffocation- Pierced from Within, Suffocation Gorguts- Considered Dead Bolt Thrower- For Victory, War Master Volturyon- Coordinated Mutilation Decapitated- Nihility, Negation Cannibal Corpse- The Bleeding Soreption- Deterioration of Minds Deicide- Once Upon the Cross Immolation- Majesty and Decay There are more, but I could spend a long time doing this. Some of them are kind of new, but I haven't gotten sick of them yet, so I think they belong. I see quite a bit of Obituary on here, and I want to like them but I can't really get into Tardy's voice. I feel like I'm being robbed of an important band.
