One thing I'm happy about is that this will probably prove to be an important moment in the decision of the video referees.

You actually that naive that you think Blatter will allow for video refs? Hell no. he wants it to stay this way. He is a megalomaniac. Now at kleast he can instruct referees to be pro big teams.

I'm not saying this is going to happen in the next few days. But to me, it seems as if the voice of the trainers, analyzers and players is increasing and increasing in volume every major tournament. And Blatter will retire one day.

You could see that Lampard goal from a plane. Why does FIFA keep bringing the worst referees from each country to big competitions? Anyway, 4-2 is still a loss - a totally deserved loss for England who finally put their hearts into the game but was completely outplayed by those deadly German counter-attacks. Müller was amazing as always.

Besides, England should cap some new defenders. John Terry cannot run as fast as he did years ago. Glen Johnson is a second-class player at best. It is painful to see so many mistakes in such a historically important team as England.

Take no metter what coach you want, England cant win, simply can, thay are overtpayd in PL, stars in clubs, but where is Rooney for example? Bundesliga dont counts better leage in world, but its uqlaity and sometimes more interestimng how PL whit foreners but many german guys play main rolle there to in each teams, ok Bayern Munchen is specal team
Where was English defense? Where was mid field, forvard, I think any other team would play better but its logical 1th place there comes Uruguay in 1/4 and go home, simply Englands game was not good at all in whole tournament, but why Peter Crouch didnt play? Non game was good and IMO thay was lucky be there. All media say Eng be champs, but Germany say thay gonna faulth, maybe you make english players chaps to fast?

England FA shood sit, take advice from others FA's and figure out whats a deal whit England?

About goal I hoep FIFA open eyes and use video refs, Hockey has it(for see goal was in wasnt not in, player score whit skate or puck goes from skate, was he in goaly zone and was not etc) , other sports has video to, why footbvall cant do in nowdays 4 refs can see goal, well ... I hope FIFA and UEFA open eyes or make any other rules how awoyd such games in 1/8 if tahy are coruypt and BIG lands and teams give money.... not always it works , see FRance is out Itland might win SA or try hard against Mexico... sorry vut such idiotic thinks and concervativism nowdays dont work, its like dont use i net nowdays and say team line up by mail to FIFGA HQ

Simply there is not better football how in Europe, there cant be better football how in Europe, Africa, Asia ok SA os quate ok, but how can you ask referee from Kirkiztan, Angola, Tonga or Mozambika be in such shape what you shood be in PL, Serie A , La Liga
Simnply its like try make life quality in Chada how we have in lets say Hungary,,,it neve rhepen, so its WC refs shood be from whole world, but I be happy only Europains and S aemricans do the job

Not only Tevez.. but I guess Messi was offside in the first pass as well.

It is not Rosetti's fault, as it was not Larrionda's in ENG-GER, but total incompetence of their assistents.. Sure the two errors were so obscene that the whole world saw.. except the ones who should have. Even the referees on the midfield could not have missed it.

Tévez's goal had simply take out all the fun of the game... Mexico was playing better, and now probably will not have the capacity to cool the head and turn the game around... and who can blame them? after this shameful act from the assistent is hard to avoid the dejection...

Yes its line man faukth and more famouse always are main referee's so line man, but otehr hand thay are humans and cant see all like in TV, but still FIFA sahood think about it somehow WC outside Europe is whit weird ref errors, I hope in Brazil be better, dont remeber how was in Ger, but there can not be such errors in one tournament
I doubt in sereie a or allsvenskan has so many errors per season

This year, I support Spain because of their strong game against other teams during the last edition of European's Championship. (This is one of the reasons I'm so much into football.) However, I used to have big expectations for the Spanish guys until they started to fail so epically. These days, I don't have a favourite any more. Otherwise, I suppose that Portugal and The Netherlands will go further (if it comes to European teams) . As for other continents and countries, my visions for the semi-final and the final itself are connected with South American teams.

Now, I'll use a MS style to express my opinion on the following subject.

Biggest letdown for this Worldcup (so far) : England, Spain, France, Italy
Biggest surprises for this Worldcup (so far) : Japan, South Korea, USA
Best performing teams (so far) : The Netherlands, Portugal, Denmark, Argentina, Brazil

I hope I haven't missed any teams.

Denmark used to play quite well, actually. (Before they got beaten. ) I was definitely impressed by the way they performed.

That must have been during the qualifications for WC 2010 not during the world cup cause their they were horrendous

Maybe I was just too impressed by the fact they actually made it to the World Cup.

Well the Netherlands did beat Japan quite easily albeit 1-0.
At least this time we don't play sparkling but win. And I never had the feeling this time around during any of the matches that we would lose.

Elodie 1th USA wa snot suprise at all of if you mean suprise thay are kicke dout it still was not suprise
denmark did not play well, only one game when tahy come beck from 1-0 and won 1-2 and send Cameroon home it was best game
in Qual thay played much better even shood won Portugal in parken not 88 min let Por scored

Aagain referee error, because goal Mex, play well criate chances and can win this match, Tevez was ofside so , but other 2 goals was beautiful specely Tevez 3th one , but mexico prove thay can play and I think Mex can win USA and even Italy this yera thay proved it against France , but it was to hard againts Arg

Germany-Argentina
I dont know, it can be all posible scenarios, many gaols, boringf, one goal, penalty, attacking, defense all can hepen both can win, its harder tell who's win how eng vs Ger

Well the Netherlands did beat Japan quite easily albeit 1-0.
At least this time we don't play sparkling but win. And I never had the feeling this time around during any of the matches that we would lose.

Yeah... consistency is the word... but Japan's game against Denmark surpasses in the technical level everything Brazil and Holland have showed so far (even disregarding the uninterested performs against Cameroon and Portugal, where both were already on the next stage).

But of course... it doesn't mean anything... it's just curious fact to me. And I guess it would be important for both a more ''sparkled'' performance against Chile and Slovakia to rise the expectations on the most probable encounter in the Quarter-finals, even thou Brazil vs. Netherlands usually results in a great game either way.

Great analyze, your so true. The assistent refree fucked up the game allowing a clear offside goal.

Only bad tournament where Ge rplayed was in Portugal , who knows who be champ if thay play well, and Latvia shoow won ger in 2004
Otherwise there no bad game whit Germany , always play well

I guess Dutch people perform better. Of course, Germans are also good but it does seem like there's something missing in their team. This edition of the Wordlcup makes me believe that weaker teams with lots of ambition could play way better than other ones who simply rely on their so-called-stars. Wayne Rooney himself (for example) is not able to put pressure on other players (and whole teams) . Only one or two stars in a team aren't enough for a convincing and unfailing win. (Thumbs up for Japanese and Korean people!)

If it comes to referees, I assume that the ones who have been chosen for this Worldcup are definitely not the best choices. I mean, they have already given so many unfair and/or absurd penalties! It's ridiculous. xD

Tevez got his scar during his childhood. Had some sort of accident and he had to go through operation and that left the scar there.

Ribery was involved in a car accident during his days in Galatasary. That caused the scar.

Refs ok from Europa there is always posibibilities but Asia, Africa, Ocenian IMO those are best refs there
