Saw that there's no rugby league forum (but there is a union one), so here it is. NRL, Super League, Test, State Of Origin, etc. Who's gonna win/lose? Who's your team? Which referee "cost" your team the game? Should Sonny Bill be alowed back in the NRL? And when wil the Blues learn to play footy? (7 in a row!)

How often you gave seem drop goal in leuge games?

Very rarely. They're only worth 1 point in league. Or 2 points if kicked from over 40m away (2 points was only added a few years ago). So it's mostly used when the scores are level late in a game, or a team is winning by a large amount.
There were 22 1 point and 6 2 point field goals kicked last season

Agree. NRL is way bigger than Super Rugby, and probably most of the other club rugby comps. Though Super League (English rugby league) is smaller than English and French rugby union comps. Non-Super Rugby rugby union comps get fuck all coverage here. But the RL international body keeps sabotaging itself (and the NRL actively sabotages it) so rugby union's international game is way bigger than rugby league's.
For example, the RL world cup has shrunk the number of teams from 16 to 10 for the next world cup. That means I won't get to see the little rugby league countries like Greece or Italy or whichever of the 3 main ones from the Americas. USA in a few world cups, Jamaca in the last one. Haven't seen Canada yet, and most likely won't now. There's a slight chance South Africa will be in the next world cup, they play Cook Islands for one of the 2 remaining spots in the 2026 World cup later this year. France play Jamaca for the other spot.

Yes in Australia, I dont think RL is Europe as club competition are so strong , England + one French team
Union kills here and also even England and France has good attendee
I think NRL dominates by attendance, because you have bigger arenas
Eng and Fra has smaller, URC SA dont even go watch, rest are smaller unless important games Millennium Stadium, Aviva Stadium, Murrayfield, Hamden Park and maybe Twickenham Stadium .
Rest attendce is smaller , thats why RL in Aus has bigger one

National teams, RU kills man but people might live in a villadge while local ultra boys go and watch tier 10 football games, some guys dont care watch on TV tier 1 and national team,

MC vice shared this, maybe happens once in a decade and might be a moment to remember , like Ole Gunnar Skolsear and Teddy Sheringham in 1999 when man Utd in 90'+3 min scored two goals in Nou Camp and won CL final against Bayern what was leading 1-0
I still remember it and that game

Same time in Union when player jumped after ball, I believe some of fiscal fromt like players would do contra jump and or he would be stopped in a middle

No idea who will host 2030, since England still owes $800000 that they're refusing to pay for hosting the last one. International league is constantly undermined by self interest from the NRL and Super League, who would rather protect the domestic competitions than grow the international ones. Notice how the current 'World' Cup is 7/10ths Pacific countries? Why not replace England, Lebanon and France with Japan, America and Philippines and call it the Pacific Cup.
