This topic is about Obituary. I hope everyone now knows they have a new album and that they're now giving shows everywhere on the world.
Obituary also had/have plans to make a new album. They said they wanted to make a new album this year in their opening letter this year.
Hail this John Tardy with his 'beautifull' voice.

Its truly that they are one of the best Death Metal IMO, and im not into DM like others genres but i like a couple of bands, i like all theyr albums and also was awesome wath them live last year with the killer formation

Wow, I'm new to this band. I knew of their importance, but never listened to them until now. It's great old-school DM, really. It reminds me pretty much of Death (anyone else?), just not so technical. But I like it better than Death I think...

One of the best death metal bands ever for me! Even though, I have heard many metalheads calling Obituary thrash metal..??? Anyway, Frozen in time was a big success, but although I must say that I was waiting something more exceptional in this after-reunion alboum. I liked it, cause it was a classic Obituary

I bought the End Complete/World Demise double album a couple of years ago. I didn't like it at first because of Tardy's vocals. However, Obituary's sound grew on me after a while and now I love everything about them, especially the vocals! Still haven't seen them live though.

Great band of course... One of my favorite american bands... I have lots of their stuff...Great aggresive tunes .. Obituary just kicks ass... Yeah is cool how they have their albums starting with the abs... My favorite ... Cause of Death...

Actually, It looks kind of power metal with the random dragon there. If that wasnt on it and the band logo wasnt sticking out like a sore thumb, would be better. .. Ohwell, still only cover art.

I gotta agree with Xtreme Jax about the cover art. It doesn't really seem to fit Obituary well. It looks more like a Hammerfall album. I mean, just look at the comparison: But regardless, Obituary are a great band. Slowly We Rot and Cause of Death are definitely my favourite albums from these guys. They toured here last month but unfortunately I was unable to go. They're a band I'd really like to see live.
