This is good movie about 560's MC in Chicago, Illinois called Vandals
We all know Outlaws MC is oldest 1% biker club, form in 30's in Illinois. Older as Hells Angels, Bandidos,. Warlocks , Sons of Silence and many others
We all known Outlaws blow up Hells Henchment what is Hells Angels Hanground club house what was 3th largest home or domestic blow act in USA. They leader Harry Bowman did serve 2 life times and 83 years in jail.
Anyway film is good like one there said in 50's and 60's was golden era to ride a motorcykle. After it all changes. Well we still saw men whit long hair, beard and dirty jeans n letter jackets in 90's nowadays its gone.
Anyway even its not based on real events new violet guy who killed leader might be Harry?

The Return of the Living Dead


Would have watched Halloween but the only ones I'm seeing on our services (like a lot of classic horror) are just modern remakes with the same name. That's the equivalent of going to brunch (or a party) and being handed decaf coffee (or non-alcoholic beer). Suspiria being the exception, what I saw of the remake was still pretty cool.

Movies seen lately :

• Jacob's Ladder (Excellent)
  
• Coherence (Interesting minimalistic horror sci fi)
  
• Sunset Blvrd (Much better than I expected...)
  
• Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes (2020) - Average, "funny" sci-fi without too much hassle or thinking.
  
• The Mist (2007) - average
  
• Only Lovers Left Alive (2013) - not bad for what it is, enjoyable.
  

Crap tier :

• Clerks (I don't understand the appeal... might be a cultural american thing)
  
• 8½ (wtf was that...)
  
• The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane (WTF WAS THAT...)
  

The ending alone makes The Mist worth a watch IMO.

Over the last few days, I have watched:

Winter Light (1963) - A captivating meditation on God’s silence with minimal “flashy” shots. An intentionally subtle visual experience. Bergman always delivers excellent writing and character development. The line “You will hate yourself to death” will haunt me for a long time. It is not the best Bergman film, for me, but it is very good. 8/10

Sinners (2025) - For me, the story, characters, and pacing did not work very well, despite the quality visuals and many impressively coreographed/directed sequences. As much as I love Michael B. Jordan, I can never fully suspend my disbelief when one actor plays both twins in a movie; I wish films stopped doing that. The music was great. 7/10

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) - This film is considered to have the greatest nighttime cinematography ever, rightfully so. Brad Pitt gives an excellent performance; it’s the best I’ve ever see from him. Casey Affleck and Sam Rockwell are even better, so this means the leading trio of the movie all give 10/10 performances. The screenplay flawlessly blends suspense and drama, showing characters whose morality I’m still contemplating days later. 9/10

The Tale (2018) - I felt like throwing up after watching this film, had to fast forward and skip a few scenes. It’s a great movie with frighteningly good performances, but I cannot actually recommend it. It’s significantly more horrific than May December, and much more documentary-like. 8/10

Weapons (2025) - The mystery part of this film is its one significant flaw. There’s almost certainly no way to set up such a big mystery and then resolve it in a satisfying way, so the authors built the story on a flawed foundation from the start. Other than that, this is a very entertaining mixture of horror and dark comedy. The climactic sequence is fucking amazing, one of the most satisfying endings I’ve seen in years. 7.5/10

Working Man - Jason Stalham feeatured, very good movie.

I watched Train Dreams last weekend and it is a fantastic film, such a shame it is on Netflix. Deserves a big cinema screen.

Wasn't a soldier. In the US we went to theaters. Outside the country mostly rented/bought VHS tapes.

Hereditary (2018) - really really good horror, highly recommended.

Extreme Job (2019) - Very nice action / comedy, recommended aswell. Good to have a nice time without too much thinking

Threads (1984), very good
quite a harsh watch, but well made.

You want to see "post-apocalypse ?", well, you got it.

In a similar vein, I would highly recommend The War Game 1966 by the great Peter Watkins and Dead Man's Letters 1986 by Konstantin Lopushansky, both movies left a permanent mark on the way I see nuclear war and post apocalyptic settings.

I ran into Dead Man's Letters looking for recommendations before, but not sure about the Russian style... I tried once a Russian "classic" (Come and See), and some Tarkovsky, didn't like them. Is Dead Man's Letter in the same vein, (same feel, same style, etc) ?

Yeah, Lopuchansky actually worked on Tarkovsky's last few movies so there are some similarities to be found, it's a slow and introspective movie. It's only 80 something minutes long though so it's not a big time sink if you wanna give it a try, it's on youtube as well.

For Russian / soviet cinema in general I can only recommend that you check out the works of Mikhail Kalatozov like The Cranes Are Flying, I Am Cuba and Letter Never Sent. It's a lot more dynamic than the other Russian stuff I've watched, and his movies were super inventive for the time they were made when it comes to camera movement.

I also really liked Sergei Bondarchuk's adaptation of War And Peace, but it's 7 hours long so maybe not the best thing to dive into blindly lol

Will check these aswell thanks, seems like I already looked for "The Cranes are Flying" sometime ago and put it on my "to watch" list - I have a rule that if I stumble on a movie many times from different sources, it climbs higher in the to-Watch-soon list lol

On the other hand, I forgot that I really liked the Russian adaptation of Master and Margarita, was on youtube years ago, not sure if it's still there
As for War and Peace, I don't think I'll read such a big fat book so I might aswell watch the adaptation instead !

The Batman

Im not a huge superhero guy but I actually enjoyed this film. I liked how there were multiple villains but they are just normal crazy humans and there isn't any long back story to how they became villains.
Batman comes across as an emo kid too which is kind of how you imagine an orphan rich kid in real life.

The Batman

Im not a huge superhero guy but I actually enjoyed this film. I liked how there were multiple villains but they are just normal crazy humans and there isn't any long back story to how they became villains.
Batman comes across as an emo kid too which is kind of how you imagine an orphan rich kid in real life.

What I specifically liked about this one, aside from its insane sound stage, is that it presented a more noire Batman that actually does detective work. After several reboots that mostly focused on techno-Batman, I really appreciated this segue and enjoyed the result immensely.

Movies that I have seen lately :

Run Silent Run Deep - Nice sober submarine movie, good stuff
Dream Scenario - Original, great but fails at the very end.
The Devil's Advocate - Nice !
Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World - Got bored, honestly.
Ex Machina - hmm ok... but watch Sunshine, from the same director, much better.
Went the Day Well? - very average WW2 movie, nothing to see here.

Movies that I have seen lately :

Backrooms - Was alright.
Obsession - Was ok, I understand why people think it's great but I won't rate it as high as people do. For me it's like Misery (1990) on steroids, somehow.
In China They eat dogs - Average, but will have to rewatch Guy Ritchie movies because of it
Symbol (2009) - WTF was this pile of shit... sometimes I think people fine some things great just because "it's from Japan".
The Guns of Navarone - Thought it would be great, turns out it's quite boring.

A lot of the crowd were laughing loudly at some of the over-the-top scenes (myself included), which was the most fun thing about the film. Just my take but I think most of the fuss that we see (and will continue to see) comes from the 18-25 years old crowd who didn't see better and older movies and don't have enough points of comparison.

Also, I personally don't mind indie movies ruining hollywood sales and top charts

Which over the top scenes, the exagerated facial grimaces of the girl I think yeah ? probably was meant to be some kind of "uncanny valley" face effect, which didn't work as well as expected
