To contribute to the topic: You could say Gaahl era Gorgoroth is the most blasphemous band. Whats more antichristian than being a gay satanist? I'd imagine many a fundamentalist christian would shit a couple bricks after learning that.

Yeah but he used to sign the Trelldom demos with a swastika so guess that puts him back in favour with the pope.

Of all the blackmetal Ive listened the only band who really actually gave me the fright of my life and some seriously eerie feeling while listening to it was Deathspell Omega. I think those guys have some seriously evil shit roaming around them and unlike Gorgoroth (who i think is a bit of a spoof) these dudes really are Satanic. I read an interview once with the guitarist (I think) and he had this weird presence about him. I know its hard to feel a "presence" when you dont see the person but he just came across as seriously intellectual and as if he was on a real mission. Everything he said seemed like it can be understood in all kinds of ways, without trying to sound pretentious...I obviously dont listen to them anymore, you dont want to fuck with those kinda things man. lol

Impaled Northern Moonforest... I believe they're the same guys behind Anal Cunt, so INM is a mock black metal band, though I do like a lot of Anal Cunt.

Zombie, M.D.: I do suppose a gay satanist is the epitome of anti-christianity, though I can only imagine how many closet case christians there are.

Well, due to the imprisonments for five years which the members of Domgård went through, there have only been some rehearsal-demos spread around. Many articles and books have been written about the bands, especially about Domgård, but they are mostly known in Sweden. Domgård have also finished material for five forthcoming fullenght album and Cursed 13 are working with new material, so I'm sure you will here more from those bands soon. The split album between the two bands will be released through the label Ginnung Productions, which I'm working with, in December.

I admire those guys for going to prison for the right reasons, it's about fuckin' time for a band who takes action instead of just spewing forth rhetoric ideologies. Their first album Tol Cormpt Norz Norz Norz is the blackest, most satanic album I have ever heard, also in their early days they were doing in corpsepaint while bathed with many gallons of blood, Mika Luttinen is a really perverted guy also...

What about Brujeria, even though they're not black metal nor serious lol...

But really in terms of "serious" lyrics I'd probably go with Deathspell Omega. Most of the other bands listed don't have very thought provocative lyrics...Deathspell actually dissects the Bible and has an interesting and blasphemous philosophy behind what they say. Most other bands are just mad at what the Roman Catholic church has done and want to say things to offend it, like Vital Remains.

But seriously, if you want to go with non-serious blasphemous bands...nothing beats fucking Brujeria. Viva la Raza!

I grew up, I learned one sad thing:

90% of this evil and blasphemous black metal is really bout nothing or makes little sense. I remember, when I was a teenager - I found a Darkthrone CD in a store. I looked at the cover and song titles and I thought "holy crap, pure evil Satanism!". But then I found their lyrics... even Emperor, which is mentioned here - there are some descriptions of nature, some "nightspirits", but it's hard to tell what exactely in their music reflected their views, that pushed them to Church burning.

Also - it's easy to be so evil/blasphemous and attack Christianity/Church. Today, everyone can take a cross and shove it in the butthole and it won't really matter. Now... find me a band brave enough to poop on the Quran for an example...
