Well, instead of limiting our football talk to just the American Metalstormers thread, I decided to just make a topic about it so that everyone can be included.

My favorite football team is the Seahawks and my favorite player is either Lofa Tatupu or Ken Hamlin. My team got bitch slapped by the Bears recently, but we did suffer from significant injuries.

Anyways, who's your favorite team and player?

Who do you guys see going to the Superbowl this year? It's kinda hard to predict because if a key player gets an injury, the team is basically screwed. I think the Colts have a good chance of finally making it, and will either play the Seahawks or the Bears. I doubt that the Steelers will repeat this year because they haven't looked all that great. Well, I can only hope.

I hope Carolina throws Dallas an ass-kicking on Sunday. I've gotten to the point where Dallas is joining the ranks with my least favorite teams.

Life sucks right now. Hasselbeck is out for at least the next 3 fucking games, our offensive line is too old and injured to play as well as they used to, Alexander is still out, our starting TE is barely playing due to injuries, oh...and the RB and QB replacements suck to the max.

Even more good news- our WR Bobby Engram is out due to a thryroid condition and our starting RT, Sean Locklear, has been suspended for the upcoming game.

Oh, and I can't wait for the Texans vs Titans game...

Fuck, can Seattle's situation get any worse? (Hope to God that didn't jinx them even further).

And yes, the Titans and Texans game is going to be monumental.

Raiders beat the Steelers Worthlessberger threw like 4 interceptions or something like that.

The Seahawks lost again, but we didn't lose as bad as I thought we would. I was told that the Chiefs would start their 3rd string rookie QB, but Huard ended up starting anyways. Our secondary flat out SUCKED and our backup QB Seneca Wallace was pretty inaccurrate, but still did better than I thought he would. Oh, and our piece of shit backup running back is probably the gayest football player in the league. That fairy couldn't break a tackle if his life depended on it. Seriously...I think even I could tackle him without much effort.

The Saints basically spotted Baltimore 28 points...and have now proven they are beatable at home. The bright side would be that they are still 5-2...but now they are tied with Atlanta in the division and could easily continue to slip.

Game of the week: Colts and Broncos

hmm, Atlanta has been looking better each game. Well, at least from the clips I"ve seen. Vick is actually throwing some balls now, which is making them a bigger threat. I can only hope that they will do worse

Did anyone see Chad Johnson get laid out on the personal foul call? It was so hilarious...apparantely the Falcons were tired of him running his mouth so Chris Crockett fucking ran up to him when there was no play and just knocked him on his ass. Chad was just walking down the field...no play at all...and he got hit. Funniest thing I've seen in a while.

Another week...another group of picks that will probably be entirely wrong...but that's why I love the NFL...

Rams, Giants, Saints, Redskins, Jaguars, Ravens, Packers, Bears, Falcons, Vikings, Broncos, Chargers, Colts, Seahawks

C'mon fellas, let's see your picks.

Well, I'm not really sure about this week. The Panthers have a bye, which they need. Maybe they'll get their act together.

And the Bears lost...to the Dolphins. I have a feeling that the next few weeks are going to be painful for Chicago.

Yeah, the Bears didn't just lose, they were spanked.....kind of the Panthers last week. Let's see, Atlanta lost, Green Bay lost, Dallas lost, Tampa Bay lost. the Panthers didn't have a chance to lose. It's a great day for football.

fuck...I haven't been able to really watch any games today. I was out drinking until around 4:30 AM today and slept in 'til 12:30 this afternoon. I missed pretty much all of the early games, but I was able to watch the 4th Quarter of the Cowboys game. Romo seems like he's doing pretty well and they could have won the game if T.O. didn't drop those passes. I was trying to watch the Broncos game at work today, but I had to mute it because I was so busy. I was able to see a badass hit though. Some Steeler was running up the field and tried to jump over a diving defender, but he got hit in the air and spun horizontally and fumbled the ball while he was spinning in the air. It was funny...especially because it was a Steeler.

Worthlessberger threw like 24 interceptions today.

Saints kicked ass today...very pleased to see that. I still can't believe the Chicago-Miami game. My dad actually went to this game and said the Bears fans were slackin'. Atlanta also got upset...I can't complain about that. Saints are now at the top of the division, and the way Chicago looked, they could be at the top of the Conference if they keep winning. The AFC, in general, looks much stronger as a whole. Pyro, you can still watch the best game of the week (hopefully) right now! Geaux Saints.

Hell, If it comes down to it I will totally cheer for the Saints. New Orleans (the city) could use all the damn support it can get. I too am also happy that the Steelers got the shit beat of em today. That team can suck my balls.

lol yeah, I'm especially glad Atlanta lost. They've already won too many games this year. After they beat Cincinnati last week I was afraid that they actually would make the playoffs.

Well, it should be interesting to see how the Seahawks/Raiders game plays out tonight. We will see if the Seahawks second string can overcome the Raiders first string.

I am not going to renege on my pick for tonight, but after seeing the Warren Sapp interview today the Raiders look like they're ready. Either way, it should be a good game.
