Once you realise how very few decent tours come through Canada (mid-western canada especially) youd realise how desperate we get to see a good show. me and my friends speak of Wacken as if it were heaven, almost a fantasy land that only exist in our imaginations.

@ Dr. Rock: How true that is haha. I've only been able to get to a few shows, and even then I had to travel 6 hours there and back on the bus, what a drag, but so worth it.

And @ Kariasakis7: Immortal are definitely worth the trip.

Oh by the way, I came back from the Heaven and Hell show with Megadeth opening and it was amazing, thought id give a heads up to all those canadians who reside in one of the tour stops its definitly worth going, incredible show.

Damn right! I saw them on Tuesday and damn did it ever kick ass. Was great to see Megadeth and Dio again, but even better to see Tony Iomi, Geezer and Vinny! Not to mention Down, that did a pretty good job as warm up.

The only problem was that Megadeth was not long enough : another 3-4 tracks would of been just great,

This site used to regroup all the Québec bands that have split-up. A very decent site until it ceased existing, about 6 months ago. I don't know what happened to it, really :S.

Damn! I feel like listening to some Obliveon now. This band is really worth checking out!

i wouldve pulled an all nighter not to miss that show, you missed out big time.

I'm sure I did Rock...I've been missing a lot of shows though...I just don't have the money either...this summer though, I'll be damned if I'm gonna miss out on anything...I'm also doing a lot of shows this summer...

No, but im going to see Dimmu in may, should be a great show, I didnt care for DevilDriver either but after I saw them open for Opeth last year they put on an awesome show.

I already heard the new album...its not that bad. Its definitely not as good as some of their others, but I still found it to be pretty good.

Either way, I would rather pay to see Symphony X and Kamelot.

Just as long as Dimmu play 'Sympozium' live Ill leave very pleased.

hey guys, I'm an infiltrate here because I need your help, kinda. I'm going to Canada for a taekwondo world championship and I'll be first in Quebec city (where the chamionship will take place) from may 27 to june 5, and from june 5 to june 12 I'll be in montreal.

So, I wanted to know what's good there to do, I mean like probably a cool bar, or some metal stores. I'm planning to do some music shopping there, 'cause in Colombia is really hard. I don't know, like what would you recommend me in general, thanx!

I haven't been outside this continent...I have been to Jamaica though...I was born in Nova Scotia so I've been all over the east coast...next year I'm going to Wacken and Graspop so that'll take me to many places in Europe in summer 2008 hopefully...

Howso? the only thing ive really noticed is metalstorms been unussually slow this week.

Yeah its really frustrating. Metalstorm should inf dout a way to revenue some cash so they can get better.....whatever it is they need to make this thing go faster.

Dude if I had the cash to throw around I would totally throw some into the MS money bin...

I wouldnt. Id probably consider it then go out and buy CDs instead.
