UA is probably the best album since Countdown to Extinction . and it is one of the best albums ever this year.

me and you are alone on that one it appears, probably one of (if not the) favorite 'Deth album of mine. Out of the albums Ive heard this year it takes the #2 spot of albums of 2007....so far.

Im with you guys United Abominations is brilliant, Its old school megadeth... and the Dave Mustaine punch lines in the songs "Hey Jihad Joe we're coming to get you" - amerikhastan

Dave look same on stage, now, 5 years ago and 20 years ago, same attitude, image, everything. That guy is never gonna change

Although his vocals are shot, Megadeth are still an excellent live band. In My Darkest Hour is one of the best songs from their 80's period, and I find 'So Far, So Good, So What' horribly underrated, despite the poor production and sometimes sloppy playing.

"The System has Failed" and "United Abominations" just show that Megadeth still have it, and still kick ass. Saw the boys play about two months ago, and my god are they ever on fire. Even watching the you tube video's you can see that Mustaines guitar is as loud as ever and sounding unbelievable. Thank god for Megadeth, they are one of the reasons why metal is the way it is today (IMO)

A bit dissapointed that they skipped Sweden during their last tour here in Europe...

i second the so far so good so what remark!! i really like this album, beside that it was my first megadeth record,, i really like the into the lungs of hell opener, liar and 502!! and yeah the sex pistols cover is really shit,, i really hate that sing i mean if there is a away to just remove it from my CD!! at least i can always skip o_O

Bahahaha, thats wierd, thats my most disliked Megadeth album, I rarely listen to it and frankly I think thats them at there worst. (still not terrible though).

Oh yeah! The growling-snarling vocals of the dude that got kicked out of Metallica. No worries though, as it turned out that, Dave Mustaine and his fellow bandmates aren't sell-outs. Megadeth, my second only to Metallica favorite band before, but it turned out that these dudes definitely overtook those guys from Metallica. They stayed true to their origins. And that's what its supposed to be. New album's great by the way.

MEGADETH IS THE SHIT every album rocks, aside from risk, i dont exactly know what davey was thinking on that. anyways, i dont exactly know how you can beat rust in peace. best album of all time, not even reign in blood or master of puppets can beat that. tornado of souls has probably the best intro in the entire world. holy wars is the shit and hanger 18 has the best solo's of any song

Really? I think some of those songs are bloody brilliant. the production seems to have put a lot of people off i think.

They are suppose to come this year in india , i hope they come.

Yeah that was a great tour, when I saw them here Down had to cancel because Phil was sick, so Megadeth got to play a longer set which included more songs from the new album.

Megadeth is one of the reasons why I'm into thrash metal today. Thanks to the boys of Metallica that they kicked out Dave. He created a unique thrash metal sound that would appeal to millions. Of the big four thrash metal bands, Megadeth is on my top list, followed by Metallica, and Slayer. I'm not a big fan though of Anthrax. Anyway, back to 'Deth. Notable albums would include Rust In Peace, The System Has Failed, and the recently released United Abominations. I love Dave's growling snarling vocal style!

but growling in any way... growling is a deep low sound which Dave doesnt use
