You just don't seem to know the meaning of blasphemous. blasphemous (ˈblæsfɪməs) expressing or involving impiousness or gross irreverence towards God, a divine being, or something sacred. Pretty much sums up those lyrics in my opinion. Couldn't give a shit about lyrics myself. I'm a fan of the music not lyrics.

Dude, I'm 38. Do you really think I don't know what it means? What I mean to say is that a 20 year old with his face painted white, spewing out bullshit about desecrating altars and hanging christians isn't blasphemous, but simply stupid. EDIT: or, to somehow agree with you, it's stupid blasphemy

Impaled Nazarene is a good example but, god supposed be immortal, if you want hurt god, you want hurt the people his love? the human sacrifice is a very blasphemous theme for the aggressive and brutal nature of these act. For this reason I consider the themes of human sacrifice in honor to Satan the highest form to blaspheme and injuring god and the best way to feed the hate and the determination of the Satan worshipers. For me personally the lyrical content of a song (black metal or not) is not related to how offending the content of it is. If I don't believe in holy things so the concept of blasphemy is not valid to me. If bands are using other means to try to "offend" me to create a reaction (child abuse, cannibalism and so on) then that is entirely up to them but I don't think that is a behaviour that is limited to black metal but is (and have been for a long time) commonly used in the music industry. To me this thread is of little or no interest.
