Sorely underrated. I love the mental vocals, blasting drums and deep mines of interesting guitar-work, especially Mould, Whirlwind, Elder God and Dead Zygote. Everything just rages on here. The instrumental is sweet, particularly for bass, although the last times I listened to it I thought the riffs weren't quite so amazing. This one's a rare 10/10 for me - the 96 follow-up comes very close, with maybe even better drums and spazzier vocals. Nice unorthodox lyrics too. Awesome!

I like every song but after the instrumental ther should 've been a good "closer"

Notice at 1:09 and later 2:15 how he gets fucking possessed by a demon. So much better than nowadays.

Sorcery and the earlier The Mystical Gate Of Reincarnation EP were two of my earliest forays into mid 90's death metal.

Something about those insane animalistic vocals, furious blast beats, and lightning quick riffs struck a chord with me.

Listening to them both now, there was clear jump in song writing quality between the two releases.

The Mystical Gate Of Reincarnation is a difficult, almost impenetrable listen at times, whereas Sorcery is much more melodic in comparison and has a vastly improved production.
