I once vaguely remember listing to this and it was one of the most uninspired, boring Grindcore/Death Metal album I ever heard.

I enjoyed it. It's quite clean, but I liked it.

To me this one is full of energy and emotion, gone are the cheesy songs just for shock value, this one deals with issues.
And as they become more popular, they can afford to make a better produced album.
It is not my favorite DF album, but it is a very close second! And I seem to play this one the most in my truck, because it is the one I can play the loudest!!!

Not just this album, but the entire band if you ask me. Because they aren't "br00tally" brutal death metal or wanking technical death metal or grimy atmospheric death metal people don't consider them as one of the best.
I mean I don't either, but I give them credit for being a consistent death metal band that offers more to the average listener than Cannibal Corpse.

Weak compared to the other stunning albums I've listened to by Dying Fetus, but it still succeeds in consistent brutality and pummelling heaviness. This album doesn't stray too far from the path set by the band's brilliant 'Killing on Adrenaline' album, but it surely continues what DF fans have always loved about them.

A pretty decent display of technical brutality. I haven't heard any of their other albums yet, so I can't say how it compares. What does weaken the impression for me, though, is the use of "Homicidal Retribution" as the opening track. IMHO, it is by far the best track on the album, and it sets a precedent that just isn't met later. There are some other awesome bits here and there, and had they been condensed the material could have amounted to an awesome EP, but most of the material isn't strong enough to follow in the wake of "Homicidal..." without wanting.

if you loved this song then check the prievious albums of the band focusing mainly on "stop at nothing" and even more at their best, "destroy the oppossition", one of the best DM albums ever made

Not their best but still a real good solid effort. It's still technical, still brutal and still ferociously fast, although the drumming isn't quite as complex, and although the riffs still contain several melodic hooks, there's not as many hooks to remember as previous albums had.
"Homicidal Retribution", "Unadulterated Hatred", "Insidious Repression", and "Obsolete Deterrence" are the tracks that stand out most for me, the rest ranging from average to decent.
