All male nine by nine hanging, gently swaying in the wind? It's cold, and you are walking alone through the primeval forest of what will become modern day Sweden. The sounds of your footfalls are broken by the soft creaking of rope on wood. You step into a ring of torches, casting flickering shadows upon the base of a mighty Ash tree. From the great tree's branches hang the lifeless forms of men, horses, dogs, and a mighty ox. The moonlight smiles down on the grim scene laid before you. Epic one, those who are living in Nordland will understand what mean, even Quorthon was from Stockholm, but still, epic album

Honestly I prefer this and Nordland 2 over Hammerheart. Every song differs from the others some way.

Two things I like the most concerning this album: 1. "Ring Of Gold" (my favorite track of both Nordland albums) 2. Quorthon signed the Digipak I own Can someone confirm that all Digipaks (catalogue-no.: BMDP 666-19) have been signed before delivery or was I just very lucky?
