Manilla Road - Open The Gates

Really good stuff here... plus the band name reminds me of an ice-cream flavor

Pretty decent, but the two albums either side of this are much better. This one sounds a bit conventionally produced and doesn't make the most of his voice, and it's a bit meandering in places.

I'm guessing these guys would be as far into Power metal as you are willing to tread?

This, Agent Steel. Yeah, pretty much it

2nd masterpiece a row. It would be really hard to talk shit about this album when you've got songs like "Astronomica", "The Ninth Wave", "The Fires Of Mars", "Road Of Kings" and "Witches' Brew". TBH I could name all the songs here since there isn't any disappointing ones. And this drummer ("Thrasher") kick ass.

This is not so good as previous one, mainly production, mix and sound quality, but band continues epic journey.

I definitely prefer it to the previous, I think the consistency is much better here, especially the opening 5 songs.

Here we go with the third best MR album. It can´t match The Deluge and Crystal Logic, but comes close.

Road Of Kings, Witches Brew and The Ninth Wave are in my Top 1000! The rest is all good to very good. No fillers for sure. Maybe Weavers Of The Web and HW To The World are the weakest here but still good.
