Although this album (and the band in general) is quite sick, and very disturbing (especially the track "Konerak" if you know the story behind it) I really cant help but love them! The songs are brutal, but on many occassions, also hooky and very catchy. I am actually a big fan of this band, despite feeling a bit uneasy with associating humour with the real life murders they write about. Their mix of punk, mixed with death metal, and bizzarre versions of popular music ("Jeffrey Dahmer And The Chocolate Factory"!) is just so infectious that I really love Macabre a lot. I love their version of "The Cat Came Back" from their acoustic campfire album, and their last album, I totally loved as well. Even though Ive read a few negative comments from fans regarding that album. Macabre are a great band, and "Dahmer" is a very good album, and was the first I heard by them! \m/

I actually enjoy Macabre's serial killer humor. Heck, that's what they're all about. XD

After I started listening to Macabre, I started reading about some of the killers/killings they write about, and I found it horrifying and very disturbing. Im sure the band arent glorifying the murders, or the killers, that is just the way that they happen to write their songs. "Dahmer" is a really great album, that manages to disturb me and delight me in equal measure! lol They are a very talented band, and Im actually surprised that they've been together so long, but only made about 5 albums! Anyways, I am a fan, and they are a great band.

Dahmer's murders are a popular subject esp. when it comes to researching serial killers. Anyway, I've also been wondering why Macabre don't have many albums. Maybe they're just regular working class people who know how to play and get together to do so, and every once in a while, do an album.

For you people obsessed with serial killers, also check out Church Of Misery. Almost all of their songs are about serial killers and lvie a lot of times projections of serial killers are shown for the entire duration fo the set,

As a serial killer 'aficionado', I found some songs very humorous, though I heard only a few. Dahmer is a celebrity of his kind so naturally that this would appeal to me lol...

Today I listened to this album for the first time, and wow, I can't believe I didn't listen to this one before, it's really entertaining, I mean their style is quite talented and hilarious at the same time.
Yeah, they sing about a well-known serial killer, but then again, Metal is maybe the best kind of music to sing about that.

This is such a great album. I love how it sounds so upbeat and silly while they are singing about a terrible serial killer.
