Pretty good album, reminds me of Emperor and Death. Different from In the Shadow of a Thousand Suns as this album is a little slower and less emphasis on keyboards.

Yeah heard a couple of songs and I must say Im slightly disappointed...more shocked really. They sounded so fresh on their former album, combining all sorts of different metal styles into one. Now they just sound like countless other bands.

This album is a pure Emperor clone really, and a little less exciting than their last. But I like that its more BM than Deathcore.
And besides, Final Destiny Of The Gods is one hell of a track and prob one of my favs of the years.

They havent been Deathcore for ages...sure as hell wasnt deathcore on "In The Shadows of a Thousand Suns". No "core" to speak of on what was one hell of a metal album in 2008. Im really disappointed with the new album. Its not the 90's anymore ffs! Why regress? Whats with the terrible vocal effects? Why make an album sound as though it was recorded in a fucking forest? Really dont get what they're playing at.....biggest disappointment of the year for me.

Maybe it's just nostalgia because this was one of the first meloblack albums I heard, but there's some killer hooks on this album, particularly the first half

I’m totally with you. I discovered them on this album (saw them live that year) , and liked it so much I even got in on a special vinyl release directly from Sorceron.
I have enjoyed everything they have put out for different reasons. Great band.

Yeah, this and Becoming are albums perhaps not especially acclaimed that I will go out to bat for, really dig both of them
