After I checked some of their sample tracks on Myspace Im convinced to check their music. This review with its high points and emotional review made me to pay attention to this band. Thankz a lot for this good review.

You must be kidding me... This night I was dreaming that I was in some car with shitty music, and then someone put on Consummatum Est on player, and I was thanking for it, and now in the morning I found your review
Amazing album of one of my most beloved bands.

I actually HIGHLY doubt Jesus spoke Latin
Butdespite that still have to check out this album. Seeing it is Italian probably still has kept me from it. Italians and doom are not a happy marriage, or even Italians and metal in general.

This is a great album, already recommended by me in the 2010 recommendation thread... possibly the best funeral album of the year...

Generalising a touch, Marcel?

Of course there are exceptions such as old Forgotten Tomb, Arcana Coelestia and Void Of Silence, but that's about it I think.

Well... You should include Urna but I guess that it goes without saying if you wrote Arcana Coelestia.
Telling from what I'ved heard from their myspace.... This is another exception to the rule Marcel.

I am ashamed to have to admit that I still haven't heard Urna.

Jesus' words are universal, so any language is welcome

I absolutely agree with Marcel about the combination of Italy and metal...
The first album of Consummatum Est was a disgrace if you ask me, I didn't pretend to check this but I will consider this review to see if I can change my opinion about this band.

Emanuele, the man behind Consummatum Est, has said many times on Doom-Metal.com that he hated his first "album". I'm quoting: "Naaaaa bad recording, bad vocals, bad music, bad lyrics... I was young eheheh"...
This is much much superior stuff... it's also quite tiring seeing the old comments about Italy and metal resurfacing... it's just silly...

I had some feelings for " Opera IX" hehe, so Italians are not all bad in metal I think but yes they are rare. Maleventum is a very catchy song in my opinion check it out you Italian warriors lol.
