7.5? sometimes i think people have a weird taste! We have some amazing riffs here. Black Rain is stunning. The intro and main riff in 5.0/Torn is so genuine. this needs to be a 8.5...

Definitely a return to form after the very average "New Religion". "Black Rain" is magnificent, and "Riding The Eagle" is a great classic power metal opener. "The Exorcist" is another highlight, with it's surging Painkiller-esque riffs with a sinister edge. A couple of songs are so-so, and a bit average, but overall, this is a great Primal Fear album.

New Religion is my favorite PF album. Many people say it's weak or whatever but i think it's the most innovative. And isn't Sing Of Fear one of the heaviest and best PF songs ever? or Blood On Your Hands? Fighting The Darkness is their best ballad by far. I love that album.
As for 16:6 i love all the songs u mentioned but in my opinion "Torn" is most badass and best song PF have ever recorded...

I do think its a weak album, but there are a small amount of songs on the album I love. You mentioned "Sign Of Fear", which is a great Primal Fear song, and "Too Much Time" is awesome, one of my all time fave PF songs! The ballad "The Man That I Don't Know" is also great, a very powerful track. I just feel overall, its a little bit lacking, and doesn't pack enough punch compared to the best PF albums.

One of 16:6's bonus tracks "Scream", should have been on the album itself, as its an amazing song. The solo is a bit meh, which is disappointing, but the rest of the track seems far good to me for it to be relegated to a bonus track.

Looks like the song "Under the Radar" fell under the radar (pun intended). That song is my favorite track on this album. It's hard hitting and fast. I love it.

"Riding The Eagle" is good, but I can live without hearing the rest of these songs.

In my Top 5 of the PF disco. Especially the first six songs are very good.

Faves: Riding The Eagle, Six Times Dead (16.6), Black Rain, Under The Radar, 5.0 / Torn and Night After Night (best on record)

7.7/10
