There aren't many bands who bridge the black metal/death metal divide as well as Necrophobic, and this is a fine example as it showcases both elements really well.

You can still hear the Entombed down tuned guitars influence on this, just as they were there on The Nocturnal Silence, but here they started to transition more towards black metal.

For me it's a classic Necrophobic album. My only minor gripe is that the drums are slightly weak and slightly too high in the mix at times.
