Lucas added them in 2010...the Temnozor tie-in doesn't warrant blacklisting as the lyrics (according to MA) don't pertain to NS themes.

Yeah I didn't think they were myself, just thought MS might be a bit sensitive about the link.

This great album represents the awesomeness of tremolo picking. Stellar record.

The way I see it... If Drudkh and Walknut is here, there's no problem of Burzum being here as well.
You said it yourself, Walknut is here because there's nothing NS in the music at all (so far). Same with Drudkh and Burzum... It's just that simple to me.

I really like that maelstromous sound the guitars make. It reminds me why I like Hate Forest (regardless of the National socialist view) in that way but HF are more of an auditory rape... in a good way...

Thanks to Joe's staff pick of Nasheim, I checked this out. Really great stuff! This might end up being a 9 for me.

I'm in the minority here :x I never completed a full play through of the album although I'm a big sucker for this kind of sound and the Burzum esque riffs.

This album is outstanding. stringskklad is such a genius. he said in some interview some years ago that there might be a another album "knot of the dead". just hope he doesnt make us wait!

Motherland Ostenvegr is great and the rest of the album is good, however I'm afraid to say that this never reaches the glory of early Drudkh.

It actually does reach that level. One of the best BM albums ever.

Songwriting here is on legendary level.
There probably isn't ever gonna be another atmo bm album like this

Wish it didnt have that very annoying ride.
Perfect album otherwise.

Listening to this album while reading old Norse poetry and mythology. Poetic Edda and Prose Edda, Neil Gaiman’s Norse Mythology. Got me feeling like Mirmir on that Gjallarhorn shit.

This album is a great example of how important production is in black metal. There are hundreds of atmospheric black metal albums written just like this, but they don’t have the powerful sounding drums or swirling massive guitar tone.

You can really hear the Forest on this one. I didn’t realize it was the same guy until today.
