Perhaps the beginning of their industrial metal influence, but here they still kept their previously created atmospheres and fused them with something much heavier, albeit more melodic too.

Going through KJ's discog in the wake of Geordie's death... And my oh my Extremities never clicked with me before, but this is really an underrated gem.

It's good, but I think this album has an unenviable position of being sandwiched between their more dirty industrial and cleaner gothic rock periods, like there's some of both but they don't go all in on either of them.
