IMO its best whit Brian after Back in Black ... bets as bands 80's Brian delivers good Bon live songs, but somhow whole 80's was not good at all for band, this is best album in long period

^ I'd rather listen to anything they released in the 80s to this album; I even think Ballbreaker is better than The Razor's Edge.

This breaks the streak of bad albums, if we don't count Who Made Who as a real album. About half of the songs here are skippable which leaves the other six as pretty good material. Thunderstruck and The Razors Edge are songs which, I'm sure, everyone wanted to hear right after the monumental Back in Black album. The album cannot be rated very high because of the weak tracks, but it's still better than expected from the band in 1990. Cut out the crap songs and it's a fine album.

This album was huge when it came out and no one could escape Thunderstruck, it got old quite fast. So did Moneytalks.

Half of the album is not memorable at all, although still listenable. Perfect background music for some beers with the friends. Or at least used to be.

I can imagine the album as well as the band being big at this point, I heard it (the album) in early 2000s myself and AC/DC was pretty big name even then. I might suggest that this success the band had in the late 70s and early 80s caused them to take what they were doing, in terms of songwriting, for granted and they could release pretty much anything at that point and get away with it since people were still buying their albums. Same goes for Metallica.

Probably every one -- except maybe die hard fans -- can agree that half of the album is indeed negligible and I probably agree more with your rating than mine, it sounds quite average album. When I say it's good I'm being super generous, maybe not being realistic, I just find many of the songs good because they're better than what was presented on the previous albums. After another listen I might lean towards 6 myself, it's cumbersome to rate this album.

I remember buying this on cassette for the sake of" thunderstruck" and "moneytalks".
"Razor s edge" and "are you ready" are great songs too. The rest not so much.
Maybe i should buy it on cd to reestimate this.
