02. Reznov
03. Dark Days
04. Stage Breaker

What the fuck is going on??!!!

How come you guys ruined it? I mean, the last album The Reign of Darkness was a really good piece of death metal, but this? I don't really get that, I'm sorry. I thought that stepping away from deathcore that was on your first album and going the more traditional, death metal way was somehow a natural move. I thought you guys grew up and killed your Whitechapel-wannabe fantasies. I gave you 7.8, goddamn it!

I doubt there is anyone who would be able to follow the band's mood changes. 2008-deathcore. 2010-death metal.2011-?hell, I don't even know what to name it. I guess Emmure-core fits it the best. You won't experience during any of these four tracks the brutality and sheer violence that dominated on their second LP. It all sounds fake. Tons of pointless breakdowns and that annoying gangsta-shouted choruses. No wonder they only released an EP, I can't imagine going through more than four songs like these at once. It's hard to even call it deathcore again, as the focus here is on the pseudo-groovy parts. Yeah, like these you hate from Emmure.

This is utter shit.

Even worse than their first LP.

It's the European Emmure.

It's not impossible that this change is only temporary and they'll find some more interesting category and deliver another piece of great music, because they've proved they're capable of that.

But for now, let me use a line from "Reznov":

"You're a fucking joke."

PS. Sorry for bringing up Emmure every three lines, but it's just so obvious that Annotations Of An Autopsy are copying this very band that it's hard for me to find any other comparisons. I mean, just watch the video for "Stage Breaker."

Really gutted about AOAA, they could have been a pretty awesome DM band, but the stage breaker music video is just absolutely laughable.

Looks like they achieved all they can achieve in terms of potential on their last album.

Back to being a joke band I guess. Review does them justice.
