I can see how some people can write this off as a Mercyful Fate ripoff, but this is definitely high-quality heavy metal, I especially like the last song, it's 13 minutes long and epic as hell!

Such a great album from a great heavy metal band. They have a bit of Mercyful Fate about them and an essence of traditional doom, the songwriting and whole performance is very impressive I must say.

The opener alone is masterfull! Reminds me a lot of Attic. And it continues from there. IMHO their best record. Faves: Opener, We Were Never Here, Serpents Are Rising and On Burning Paths
