The formula on this album is pretty much the same from song to song. Raw, melodic, midpaced black metal riffing and vocals, a similar aesthetic which he makes use of in Horna. Not much variation but "Lightning and Sun" does have nice acoustic parts. Not inherently bad, but if you want something more dynamic you may want to look elsewhere.
