Wow. This band is really good, and they're so influential to the metal scene...
Much better than Sepultura.

7/10. I don't get why it is so praised.

It was an key influence in the norwegian black metal from the eraly 90's. In fact, Lamounier traded messages with Euronymous back in the 90's.

Gorgoroth members claim that this album and Slayer's "Reign In Blood" are the best things ever.

Sarcofago's drummer was praised by his, at the time, innovating drum techniques.

And it's also regarded as one of the most blasphemous albums of all time.

Aside from music, the band imagery at the time is very influential as well, like shown in the album cover.

Well, you see... it's an cult classic

Sarcófago is a very good band, published very good albums. But better than Sepultura? No way, albums like "Beneath The Remains" & "Arise" are masterpieces, rated one league higher. But just my opinion...

Don’t tell the Native Americans that.

Some people just don't appreciate lyrical genius anymore.

Really love the 4:20 mark of "The Last Slaughter", you can really tell how much Pantera was inspired by it.

Trying to be funny without much success. I mean, what an idiotic thing to say both for I.N.R.I., an album that is this influential and classic, and for Pantera, a band that actually created an entire genre.

This album brings be back to the time when I used to have fun walking in a dark forest and listening to metal, including this thing. Just moonlight and extreme metal music, it was incredibly atmospheric. Great stuff.
