So, here is yet another melodic death/doom album in the most stereotypical of ways. Seeing as it was released on Solitude Productions and that member(s) from both Nox Aurea and Draconian were involed, the final product was by no means surprising. Having said that, I'm starting to get somewhat fed up with this formula to be honset and I had hoped that at least something about As All Torn Asunder would make it stand out enough to keep me interested but unfortunately that was not the case. Don't get me wrong, the album is good for what it is but the complete lack of any character and memorability made it kind of forgettable in the end.

It's a typical gothic/doom album. the lyrics are good. however, the music could be better. all in all, it's not bad. if you're into the genre you should get this album.
