Arsames - Headlining First Ever Persian Metal Festival

The first ever Persian Metal Festival is about to take place, an event so unique it doesn't even need another naming. It will be the first time in history of Iran that 10 of its top bands will gather on the same stage to perform for their fans, headlined by Iran's biggest metal export - Arsames from Mashhad city.

The confirmed bands so far are: Arsames, 5GRS, Master Of Persia, Scox, Avesta, Persian Force and Mordab.

While having a huge number of followers, rock/metal music is illegal in Iran and the fans are severely oppressed. Being able to perform for their fans, which is the fundamental need for any musician, is denied in Iran, that's why Zhesht Events, supported by the guys from Master Of Persia, have arranged for the festival to take place in Yerevan, Armenia.

The festival will take place on September 14th in the Puppet Theater, 4 Sayat Nova str, Yerevan, Armenia. The doors will open at 16:30 and the ticket price is $10.

Zhesht Events is also organizing a club after party on September 15th in Stop Club (Moskovyan 37) with live performances by Blood Inheritance (death metal/Armenia), Nairi (heavy metal/Armenia) and Dischord (deathcore/Georgia). Well this is wonderful news. I see we have a TON of Iranian metalheads around here, hopefully the whole Israel vs. Iran thing will not go so far as to affect this or the metal scene over there.

I live in Iran too, also Arsames guys are my friends... but unfortunately this isn't going to take place in Iran and seems impossible for many iranian metalheads to gather in armenia or even dubai for such an unforgettable moments ....

Exactly. It's cheap but money is not the issue if you know what I mean...
