One word to describe this album. Disappointment.

I think the reason that this albums sounds the way it does is due to the singer's schizophrenia. if he's taking his meds like he's supposed to, those meds fuck with your head SUPER hard. So what you're hearing is medicated paranoid (or whatever type of schizophrenia he has) schizophrenia.

First time, I hear about this, maybe it's an Athens slang? Those dumb athenians

I'm pretty sure they don't actually say that. I think it's a joke.

To this day I still think these guys had no idea what they were doing in the recording studio, nor in the months of writing and rehearsing beforehand. Chalk it up to a case of mass hysteria or contagious elongated fever dreaming, but this album is just an absolute mess of failed attempts at trying too hard to sound different. There's hardly any discernible music and yet it's 45 minutes long. Incredible.

First post in - literally - years. I have grown older and possibly wiser, but maybe not. Firstly, I cannot fathom that this album is already 8 years old. I lost a bit of interest in metal (and music in general, to an extent) from about 2013 until now, and I guess... well, I just can't believe 8 years have bypassed.

Obviously, it received plenty of flak upon release. Bandcamp was still young in those times and I think it was digital only? I could be wrong. But yeah... anyone who went in expecting another Rad A Trest was probably thrown for a loop.

I'm going to give it another listen and see if my years of listening to weirder, more experimental and noisier material have tempered my earholes and will make it easier to grok this one.

The ferment of the years has not made me enjoy this more.

The electronic parts sound really cheap and midi-y and the vocals aren't what I hunkered for after earlier TOOH.

The whole thing sounds like a demo. An uninspired one that somehow mistakenly got released.

Admittedly, I didn't make it through the whole thing.

However, it led me to find that they released an EP in 2019. Going to check that out when the mood strikes.
